Why Does Malegra 120 Mg Sometimes Cause Flushing And Headaches Together?

Malegra 120 mg contains a high dose of Sildenafil citrate, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction. While effective, it can sometimes cause side effects like flushing and headaches, which often occur together. This is due to the way Sildenafil works in the body.

Sildenafil increases blood flow by relaxing and widening blood vessels (vasodilation). This process not only helps blood flow to the penis but also affects blood vessels throughout the body — especially those in the face, neck, and brain.

Flushing happens when blood vessels near the skin's surface dilate, causing warmth, redness, and a flushed appearance, particularly on the face and chest.

Headaches result from the dilation of blood vessels in the brain, which increases pressure and sensitivity in pain receptors.

When taken at higher doses like Malegra 120 mg, these effects can be more pronounced and occur simultaneously, especially in individuals sensitive to changes in blood pressure or vascular tone.

Although flushing and headaches are typically mild and temporary, if they become severe or persistent, consult your doctor. Lowering the dose or switching medications might reduce discomfort while maintaining treatment effectiveness. Always follow medical advice when using high-dose ED medications.
