Does Vidalista 5 Mg Cause Dizziness When Standing Up?
Vidalista 5 mg, which contains tadalafil, is commonly prescribed for erectile dysfunction and sometimes for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Like other PDE5 inhibitors, tadalafil works by relaxing blood vessels to improve blood flow. However, this vasodilation effect can also influence blood pressure, particularly when changing positions — such as moving from sitting or lying down to standing.
Dizziness when standing up is a known, though uncommon, side effect of Vidalista 5 mg. It occurs due to a temporary drop in blood pressure, known as orthostatic hypotension. When blood vessels relax, blood may pool in the lower parts of the body, causing less blood to reach the brain quickly, resulting in lightheadedness or dizziness.
This effect is more likely if:
You’re dehydrated
You’re taking other medications that lower blood pressure (e.g., alpha-blockers, nitrates)
You have an underlying cardiovascular condition
You consume alcohol with the medication
To reduce the risk, stand up slowly, stay well hydrated, and avoid alcohol when taking Vidalista. If dizziness becomes frequent or severe, consult your healthcare provider, as dosage adjustment or further evaluation may be necessary. |
