How Long Before Intercourse Should Cenforce Be Taken?
Cenforce is a brand of sildenafil, a medicine commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). For standard sildenafil, the usual recommendation is to take the prescribed dose approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. It may be taken between 30 minutes and 4 hours before intercourse, depending on individual response and medical advice.
Cenforce does not automatically produce an erection. Sexual stimulation is necessary for sildenafil to work. The medicine helps increase blood flow to the penis, making it easier to achieve and maintain an erection when sexually aroused.
For standard sildenafil, the usual starting dose is 50 mg, although a healthcare professional may prescribe 25 mg or 100 mg depending on effectiveness and tolerability. It should generally not be taken more than once in 24 hours.
Taking sildenafil after a heavy, high-fat meal may delay the time it takes to start working, so following the prescribing instructions is important.
Cenforce/sildenafil should not be taken with nitrate medicines used for chest pain because the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. If you develop an erection lasting more than four hours, seek emergency medical attention.
Because Cenforce is available in different strengths, the correct dose should be determined by a healthcare professional rather than increased on your own. |
